Stomatology Prevention

This meeting was dedicated to our medical dental students. Two talented individuals from within our group took the initiative to impart their valuable insights on dental care—a contribution that I found not only intriguing but also ripe for immediate implementation.

After transforming the meeting room into a welcoming space for our esteemed guests, we meticulously arranged all the necessary equipment, ensuring that we were fully prepared to host our first attendee.

A sincere thank you to the Ethos team for their invaluable assistance and support.

We commenced this event by introducing ourselves, as we were delighted to welcome newcomers who joined us for the first time. The sight of new faces brought us a sense of joy and anticipation.

Following that, we made the collective choice to join in song, expressing our gratitude to God for the wonderful evening we were experiencing.

The evening started strongly! Flash test, general information about dental care, time was running fast and only 3 winner.

That prompted us to ponder a little deeper. I personally found the information to be more specific and enlightening, and we were truly impressed by the outcomes.

What's a competition worth without its fair share of rewards?

Our dedicated students had diligently prepared a presentation, along with a concise demonstration, illustrating the correct method of using our toothbrushes.

I believe their efforts truly paid off as they adeptly imparted their knowledge, leaving us well-informed and equipped with valuable insights. Their teaching approach was not only effective but also engaging, making the learning experience both enjoyable and enlightening. It's clear that they put considerable thought and effort into ensuring that the information was conveyed comprehensively and in a manner that resonated with everyone in the audience. This speaks volumes about their dedication to enhancing our understanding of proper dental care practices.

Thank you Miriam and Tina for your implication!

We didn't forgot about the God's presence and we praised Him by singing another song together and Thomas prepared for us a short verses and his thoughts about that.

Matthew 15: 15-20

But Peter said to him, “Explain the parable to us.” 16 And he said, “Are you also still without understanding? 17 Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled?[d] 18 But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. 20 These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone.”

Our evening was drawing to a close, but not without a final touch—an engaging game that involved everyone present.

"Parliament" proved to be a memory-testing game, pitting two competing teams against each other as they vied to populate their designated Parliament. This unique assembly was a blend of individuals from both teams, adding a dynamic twist to the challenge. The objective was to correctly guess or recall the names corresponding to the people on their respective tickets.

Victory was claimed by the team that successfully secured parliamentary seats for all its members. The game added a delightful competitive edge to our evening, fostering camaraderie and a sense of achievement among participants.

It was a good meeting and we think that they enjoyed it. We also had the birthday celebration of Damaris so the night was great.

Thank you for joining us on this journey to explore the world of dental care. We hope that the insights shared in this blog have empowered you to take charge of your oral health. Remember, a healthy smile is a reflection of a healthier you. Here's to many more reasons to smile in the days ahead!

Stay tuned for the upcoming meeting that's on the horizon.
