On Tuesday, October 15, at the headquarters on Păltiniș Street 57, Craiova, I had the privilege of participating in a special meeting of Christian police officers from Craiova. It was an inspiring evening, where the main theme was each of our call to further the Word of the Lord in our lives and in the community.
The meeting began with a brief message from Manfred, who presented the activities and projects of the Ethos Foundation, highlighting the importance of these initiatives in the community. The foundation's projects provided us all with a clear framework for involvement, both personally and professionally, to spread the message of faith.
The central moment of the evening was the moving testimony of Ewald Dorner, a former police officer with an impressive career in special missions, who went through a dramatic experience that changed his life. Ewald shared how, during a mission, he suffered a helicopter accident, a moment that shook his entire existence and led him back to God. After this event, Ewald realized that his life could no longer continue as it had and that he needed faith and a new path. His testimony was a profound lesson about the fragility of life and how God can guide us even in the most difficult moments.
After this impressive story, Lucian led us in a time of praise and worship, bringing peace and reflection to our souls.
The evening continued in a relaxed atmosphere, where we had the opportunity to enjoy a snack and moments of socializing.
This meeting was more than just a simple event—it was a call to action. The main message, that we are all called to carry the Word of the Lord forward, inspired and motivated us to become more actively involved in our faith lives.
